Sal
DiFusco currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Berklee
College of Music where he has taught for the last 10 years. Sal
also is very involved as a musician, performer, educator, writer,
producer, band leader, artist developer, recording engineer and
recording artist. After 2 years in the making, Sal is on the brink
of releasing his 3rd solo effort "Vanishing Mist" in early 2008.
This recording shows the many sides of his compositional and technical
guitar styles. Although, still in the spirit of instrumental rock,
he has incorporated other flavors in this recording including Bebop,
Latin, Brazilian and Funk. Another project that Sal is very proud
of is a 4 part instructional DVD series that he has filmed with
Taiwan based company GUITARLEADING with president and producer WenChan
Tsai. This 4 part series is based on musical styles including, Rock,
Jazz, Funk and Blues. This will also be due for release in early
2008. Sal currently manages 2 very high end commercial R&B groups
in the Boston Area. He also performs with his own group called "The
Sal DiFusco Project" and is currently organizing concert dates in
Boston, New York, and the a tour of the Orient including China,
Japan, Korea and Taiwan in 2008. Sal lives in the Boston area with
wife Jennifer and two sons Gianni and Marco. |
