In
1998, I was offered a position as Assistant Professor at Berklee
and I excepted. In 2000, I came out with my first solo CD called
"Nevertheless". I had some great musicians on that record
including: Mike Mangini (Steve Vai), Joe Santerre (Jon Finn Group),
Paul Stiller (Vox One), Keith Reed (Ben Orr of the CARS), Casey
Scheuerell (Jon Luc-Ponte, Gino Vanelli) Dan Foote (I2I), and
my wife Jennifer who added some cool voice-overs. This CD was
produced by Tom Waltz at Waltz Audio. In 2002, I came out with
my 2nd solo effort called "Great Exploits". Again, Mike
Mangini and Joe Santerre joined me along with an old college buddy
who I still perform with to this day, Pat Loomis on alto sax.
In 2003, I moved on from my job with the ministry and have
been since incredibly busy with writing, recording, band leading,
teaching at Berklee, artist development, running my own recording
studio and record label called SADETAR RECORDS, and I am currently
managing 2 commercial R&B groups called Radiance and Free
Style who are represented exclusively with New England based agency
Wilson Stevens Productions.
