Boston Rock & Roll Anthology Vol. 3 was the fifth compilation album released by Varulven, the third in this series, containing comedian Blowfish (Paul Lovell) with "Geeko" and "Parasite". Rods & Cones deliver a brilliant "Round Room" which was a Boston area hit (and video!).
Joe Viglione's band THE COUNT provide "The Minute Impression" - a video taped at the same session as Rods & Cones, the late Fudge Keegan on guitar, this song appeared on the U.S. version of "The Intuition Element" (it was the demo for the album) and the fourth French album, the New Rose disc "New Changes".
Disarray's "Invisible Miracles" out-Burma's Mission of Burma at their own game while "The Realm" is early music from Dave Gray and John Denley of the country group John Denley & Band. 22 years before Denley would play with some of Nashville's top players, he appears on this classic document of Boston music. Smuggler were produced by legendary engineer Stuart "Dinky" Dawson - the man who did sound for Lou Reed, Fleetwood Mac, The Byrds, Steely Dan, Aerosmith, J.Geils, The Kinks and so many others.
12 tracks in all including Control U, Blockyard and the Odd Squad. The second gorgeous cover from David Conrad's exquisite art gallery.
