My immediate plan for professional development is to continue my post-bebop and jazz performance studies with Jazz Educator Charlie Banacos. I have been with him since 1/04 and I am planning on continuing my studies with him for an indefinite amount of time. I find that my lessons with Charlie keeps my musical knowledge expanding and they enable me to take my students to new heights in their development.

Another area in which I will continue to take advantage of is the training that Berklee provides through CTMI, BTOT, Departmental Meetings, Concerts and Clinics. CTMI has been very valuable to me as a teacher and musician. My plan is to dig deeper into the art of recording with the latest recording software "Reason". Another one of my goals is to receive training and to become proficient on the music notation program "Finale". Another plan that is in the works is a new CD release, which I am planning for in mid-year 2008. My plan is to start writing and preproduction in January 2007.

My plan for personal development includes daily practice times, transcribing songs and solos from the masters and focusing on a myriad of methods and techniques as prescribed by Charlie Banacos and from the inspiration of other individuals. Even with the level of expertise and experience I possess as a professional musician and teacher, I never forget that I am still a student. I love learning. Learning keeps me inspired and when I am inspired I am happy. The more I learn and grow as a musician and teacher, the more I am able to give to my students and to inspire them to much growth and progress.
