Private Instruction with Jazz Educator Charlie Banacos 1/04-present

    For the last year I have been very happy in my growth and progress as a guitarist and musician. It has been incredibly satisfying to continue my studies in Jazz with the legendary Charlie Banacos. The focus of my studies with Mr. Banacos is Post Be-Bop theory, and Jazz performance. It has been challenging but gratifying as I have studied his unique approach to improvisation with the use of chord tones, tensions, passing tones, approaches, modal sequences, 23rd chords, interconnecting scales, pentatonics, upper structure triads, ear training and composition. Of course every lesson was laced with interesting Jazz History.

    The focus of my studies at Waltzaudio was learning the art of engineering, mixing, mastering, recording and production with the use of the state of the art Pro-Tools recording equipment. Since then I have been working as a producer and engineer in my own home studio for a myriad of different artists within a myriad of musical Styles.
