Boston Arts and Entertainment Ministry Group Leader 1993-2003
This was a ministry focused on community outreach with the use and
inspiration of the Arts and the Entertainment field. I received
much training during my employment as the leader of the Arts and
Entertainment Ministry. I participated in many courses on leadership,
group training and one on one instruction. I was also in charge
of putting on major musical performances for conferences around
Europe and the United States.
Much of my growth as an educator came from the experience I received
in teaching at several private schools including:
Cambridge Music
/ Private Instructor / Cambridge Ma. 2003
Lexi Music / Private
Instructor/ Lexington, Ma 2003
Bell Music / Private
Instructor / Belmont Mass. 2003
Wood and Strings
/ Private Instructor / Arlington, Ma 2003
DiFusco Music/
Private Instructor/ Medford, Ma. 2003
Sadetar Records
/ Recording engineer and Producer 00-Present
Springstep Center
for Traditional and Contemporary Arts
Private and
Class Instructor 2003
Berklee College
of Music 1998-present
The most intense training that I received as an educator has been
in my last six years as an Assistant Professor at Berklee. I have
had the pleasure of teaching and training students by private instruction
at all levels of proficiency. It has been a remarkable learning
experience as I have taught Rock Labs, Styles Labs, Ensembles, Masters
class ENSB111, Performance Skills, Jazz Improvisation Techniques,
5-week Summer Programs, and the Musicianship Class. It has also
been highly educative to be involved in the many areas of faculty
development made available by the College, like the various concerts,
departmental meetings, clinics, BTOT, CTMI training courses and
Diversity courses.
