* "Sal DiFusco Project" will be performing a CD release Concert at the Somerville Holiday Inn to promote the new record "Vanishing Mist"on Thursday, March 13th 2008 at 7PM. Special guests include "The Shotz" Band. For more information, go to the Gigs page at saldifusco.com. 

* Taiwan based company "GuitarLeading" will be releasing a 4-part instructional DVD series on Guitar training in 4 musical styles including Rock, Jazz, Funk and Blues. This will be due for release in the Spring of 2008. 

* The "Sal DiFusco Project" along with "GuitarLeading" are organizing an Oriental tour in the summer of 2008 to promote both the instructional DVD series and the new CD "Vanishing Mist" 

* There are 2 new musicians in the newly formed "Sal DiFusco Project" They are Devin Collins on Drums and Raymond Reich on Keyboards.  

* The band "Heart and Fire" which Sal DiFusco performed, recorded and toured with in the early 1990's will be reuniting for some shows and possibly a new recording in the near future. Keep checking the Gigs page for upcoming shows.  

* Sal DiFusco just finished recording and engineering the tracks for Joe Santerre's new book called 'Fingerstyle Funk Bass Lines' published by Hal Leonard/Berklee Press. This book explores the finger funk bass lines in the style of Rocco Prestia, Jaco Pastorious, Gary Willis & Paul Jackson. This book is due to be out in the Spring of 08.
